Atradius Collections and HPD Software are delighted to announce a strategic alliance to connect HPD’s Aquarius system and Atradius Collections global IT platform SCORE. This will enable factor clients to seamlessly access the trade invoice collection and verification services delivered by Atradius Collections’ teams across the globe.

The factoring industry supports more than US$ 2 trillion of trade worldwide and continues to grow. Liquidity management and the availability of cash are critical and factors understand the need to provide their clients with quick decisions, while also managing risks and costs. This can be a challenge, especially when it concerns international trade. Today more than ever, there is a need to have access to reliable, financially strong partners who can verify and collect internationally.

The connection created by this strategic alliance will allow factors to expand by supporting more of their client’s international trade.

The connection will help HPD’s factoring clients prevent fraud by verifying invoices and will also secure payment by sending invoices for collection. Factors and their clients will receive daily status updates on the assigned invoices automatically, through HPD’s factoring platform Aquarius.

Raymond van der Loos, Managing Director of Atradius Collections, said: “Atradius and HPD are combining our core strengths in a way that will enable factors to help their clients trade internationally in a secure, efficient and flexible manner.”

Kevin Day, Chief Operating Officer, HPD said: “By working with Atradius Collections, we can offer a new solution, making it possible for factors to outsource their credit management of the financed portfolio: transferring cases with minimal human intervention to an external partner who can deliver a consistently high quality service globally.”
